Environment Lookdev/Textures - Mid/Senior

Project: TV Series - Ghost Force Experience
Location: Angoulême, France (on-site position)

ABOUT THE JOB


As part of the Stim team, you will work closely with the Art Director and the technical team to develop shaders and textures for the environments of our current series project, Ghost Force Experience.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and apply shaders and textures for environments following artistic and technical guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with modelers and team artists to ensure visual consistency and material quality.
  • Maintain a high level of detail and optimization in your creations, guaranteeing their performance for the rendering and lighting departments.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the animation industry.
  • Knowledge of render engines, primarily Arnold.
  • Experience with node-based software (Katana, Gaffer, Houdini...).
  • Analytical and artistic skills, creativity, and visual problem-solving.
  • Ability to write technical documentation and present your work (wiki, screenshots, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and manage your time.
  • Fluent in French.

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

  • Proficiency in Gaffer / Katana / Solaris.
  • Knowledge and mastery of Houdini.
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages to optimize workflows.
  • Fluency in English.
