Resource Manager

Location: Angoulême, France (on-site position)

ABOUT THE JOB


As part of the Stim Studio team, you will be the central hub for managing our talents. Your role will consist of orchestrating the studio's global workload capacity and ensuring a perfect match between the needs of our various productions and the available human resources.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensure the planning, allocation, and optimization of human resources across all studio productions.
  • Centralize resource requirements expressed by production directors, supervisors, and department heads.
  • Maintain and update the studio's global workload plan under the supervision of executive management and production management teams.
  • Gather and consolidate recruitment, outsourcing, or freelance reinforcement needs expressed by production management and executive direction.
  • Identify risks of overload, underload, or allocation conflicts and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure regular monitoring of team availability and production progress to adjust assignments when necessary.
  • Participate in production tracking meetings and provide executive management with a consolidated view of the studio's capacity.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning tools and methods.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in production coordination, resource management, or scheduling within animation, VFX, video games, or a creative production environment.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management skills.
  • Ability to analyze the needs of multiple projects simultaneously and arbitrate resource allocations.
  • Ability to anticipate workload, availability, and skillset challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with production teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
  • Fluent in French and professional English.

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

  • Knowledge of a 3D animation production pipeline.
  • Experience with multi-site or multi-project productions.
  • Understanding of staffing challenges and workforce forecasting.
